Reliable Source: Chris Brown and bodyguard get separate trials

Singer Chris Brown and his bodyguard will have separate trials on misdemeanor assault charges, a D.C. Superior Court judge ordered on Monday, our colleague Keith Alexander reports. Brown and Chris Hollosy were both charged after a fight last year outside the W hotel. Hollosy's attorney argued for the separate trials, saying his client wants to testify as a witness for Brown and couldn't do so if they were tried at the same time.
